What is a taxi courier?
A taxi courier service like ours provides fast, door-to-door, same-day delivery of packages and documents. It is a safe and secure way to get items delivered quickly and directly
Is a taxi parcel courier service faster than a big name courier company?
Our parcel courier service is fast because we pick up your parcel or package and take it direct to its destination. Regular couriers take your parcel to a local depot, then dispatch it to the nearest depot to its destination, and finally put it on a van for delivery. Our parcel courier service bypasses all that, so the delivery time is the driving time between where we collect your parcel and where we deliver it.
Are parcel couriers more secure than regular couriers?
Parcel couriers offer minimal handling, so your package is handled by a single driver from pickup to drop-off. With no depot transfers involved, your parcel cannot get lost in a large sorting system. Your package remains in the same vehicle (usually) from being loaded to unloading. Our YLC app provides real-time tracking of your parcel on your phone, and email confirmation of pickup and delivery.
What kind of items can be delivered?
We can take packed and sealed packages, parcels, boxes and envelopes, including:
- Crucial paperwork, contracts, and other important documents
- Packages up to a certain weight or size, depending on the vehicle
- Products, samples and display materials
- Urgent medical supplies
Our drivers are not permitted to transport hazardous items, livestock and other prohibited items such as fuels. We also do not accept packages that are already damaged, wet, dirty or leaking.
Basically if you can take it on a commercial aircraft, we can usually courier it. (With the exception of unaccompanied minors, regardless of how well packaged they are…)
